Fees: €110/month | €870/year

  • Tuesdays – 15:30-17:00 – G C School (Elementary)
  • or Saturdays – 9:00-10:30 – Artos Cultural House

The course introduces STEAM and beyond subjects through playful experiments, drawing and hands-on construction projects tailored for our young learners. It lays a strong foundation in understanding shapes, structures and spatial thinking, while children embark on problem-solving skills, process information and connect learning to real-world experiences. Through sensory exploration and interaction with materials, spaces, colours, and forms, children begin to understand their environment. Each design process is inspired by the child’s feelings and stories, as well as built, natural and imagined environments. The children embark on a journey of curiosity, imagination and critical thinking.

Explorers

Fees: €110/month | €870/year

This course builds on the natural curiosity and eagerness to learn that defines this age group. Young explorers, through fun hands-on projects that address real-life challenges, learn to classify, describe, explain, experiment and test their ideas. STEAM and beyond subjects are woven into each project, as children explore essential concepts like space, place, and the environment – ranging from individual objects to entire cities. Children practice storytelling and presenting, while learning to persist and take pride in their work. The course nurtures collaboration, communication and resilience by encouraging self-assessment and constructive feedback. By exploring different viewpoints and ideas, children develop critical thinking skills and a maker mindset.

Workshops

The Workshops are carefully designed to accommodate for a variety of ages, with specific targets and aims for every age group. Upon completion of the workshop, each child receives a participation Diploma.

Future City

Date/ Venue: TBA |Fee: TBA

This workshop showcases a future where nature and urban life thrive together! Using sustainable design principles, children create eco-friendly buildings, lush green spaces, and energy-efficient structures. Through hands-on exploration, they learn about urban planning, renewable energy, and biodiversity, developing a vision for their cities that are both beautiful and sustainable.

Leonardo Bridge

Date/ Venue: TBA |Fee: TBA

Leonardo Da Vinci is best known for his masterpiece Mona Lisa, but he was also a visionary inventor, scientist and mathematician. At around 1485, he designed a remarkable self-supporting bridge – a marvel of engineering that requires no nails, ropes, or glue. In this hands-on workshop, children bring this 500-year-old innovation to life! Working both individually and in teams, they first explore the forces and principles that allow the bridge to stand, by building miniature models of the bridge. They then discover the magic of engineering and teamwork, by collaborating to construct the bridge at 1:1 scale. In this inspiring workshop children understand and test Leonardo Da Vinci’s most ingenious bridge system.
